Δεν ξέρω εάν θυμάται κανείς μια παλιότερη εκπομπή του Νίκου Ευαγγελάτου, «Αποδείξεις». Σε ένα από τα επεισόδια, είχε παρουσιάσει έναν «γιατρό – ραβδοσκόπο», ο οποίος διαμόρφωνε το πρόγραμμα διατροφής των επισκεπτών του, ανάλογα με το πώς ταλαντώνονταν ένα ραβδί που κρατούσε στο χέρι. Μπορεί να σας φανεί περίεργο, αλλά προσωπικά, πιο πολύ θα εμπιστευόμουν έναν «καλό ραβδοσκόπο», παρά τα «βιοενεργητικά τεστ δυσανεξίας», τα οποία στις μέρες μας πουλάνε σαν ζεστά κουλουράκια… διαβάστε περισσότερα

I’ll elaborate on this issue… it is my personal opinion that this project is of crucial importance to the future of mankind… after all, abundance of energy is a vital ingredient of a Post-Scarcity Economy (from WikiPedia):

Post scarcity or post-scarcity describes a hypothetical form of economy or society, often explored in science fiction, in which things such as goods, services and information are free, or practically free. Scientists crack ‘entire genetic code’ of cancer

Caught it on Slashdot. From the original post at BBC:

Scientists around the globe are now working to catalogue all the genes that go wrong in many types of human cancer. The UK is looking at breast cancer, Japan at liver and India at mouth. China is studying stomach cancer, and the US is looking at cancers of the brain, ovary and pancreas.
